The fifth International Exhibition on Chemical and Laboratory Industry was held on November 9-12, 2022 in Shahre -Aftab Exhibition Center in Tehran – Iran in an exhibition area of 14000 sqm. This event is Iran’s first and solo specialized exhibition in the field of chemical and laboratory industry which is being held with cooperation of Ministry of Commerce and Trade, Iran Small Industries & Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), National Innovation and Prosperity Fund and other related syndicates and associations. This 4-day event hosted 176 companies including producers and suppliers of chemical materials as well as manufacturers and traders of laboratory equipment. CLI EXPO 2023 was visited by 3700 registered visitors who came across different sectors of industries including chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, cellulose, coating, medical, universities and research centers and… The event experienced a growth of 67% in terms of area and 54% in terms of number of exhibitors, compared to the previous years. Another highlight of this event, was grand assembly of manager of universities' central laboratories, nationwide. In this one-day event that was held with active contribution of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, over 250 managers of different universities' central laboratories and scientific centers were hosted and participated in a pre-arranged seminar. To ease the visit and exhibit the event, the organizing committee arranged free shuttle service from different points of Tehran, on twice a daily basis. Iran, annually imports over 2 Billion USD of chemical raw materials and its production capacity has reached to 45 MMT, according to the latest updates released by Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of the country. This event took place in Shahre -Aftab Exhibition Center which is the greatest exhibition ground in Iran and consists of four main parts: the exhibition area, the World Trade Center, the residential center and the Service and Support center. The 6th International Exhibition on Chemical and Laboratory (CLI EXPO) will be held on 21-24November 2023 in Milad Tower Exhibition Center.
